SULPHUR, La. (KPLC) - At the end of September and the beginning of October, the City of Sulphur will be launching a brand-new utility payment system.

The new system will feature a personal customer portal, access to payment history, optional paperless billing, and a new bill format.

You can sign up after you receive your bill on Sept. 20, 30, or Oct. 10. You’ll then pick a way to pay, register on the resident access portal, and pay the bill.

There will be zero charge fees for bank drafts, mail checks, and via the Water Department. There will be a credit card fee of 3.09%. And an IVR Pay by Phone and eCheck fee of $0.50.

You’ll be able to pay via the resident access portal, IVR Pay by Phone, or at the Water Department.
