This season, Schultz and Pue — the first- and third-overall picks respectively by the WHL’s Regina Pats in the 2025 WHL draft — will be splitting time between the Pats and the U18 AAA Regina Pat Canadians. Article content Article content

The two 15-year-old prospects, who officially signed with the Pats on Friday, are eligible to play up to 34 games in the WHL this season under the Western Canadian Development Model, after both were previously permitted to play up an age group at the U18 level when they were 14.

They’ll also be playing nearly the same number of games at the U18 level with the Pat Canadians.
