EVERETT — An argument over marijuana led to two men stabbing each other with a piece of wood Sunday afternoon in Everett.
At around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Everett police and fire responded to reports of a stabbing at a residence in the 5700 block of Wetmore Avenue in Everett. When they arrived, they found two men in their 40s who had been stabbed.
The incident resulted after the two men had purchased marijuana and argued over the amount, splitting and packaging, a probable cause statement said.
One of the men allegedly kicked down the other’s door, causing the wooden door trim to split from the drywall. Police said an altercation ensued, involving the piece of wood, which resulted in the suspect using a 3-inch folding knife to stab the victim’s left arm, the report said.
