PITTSBURGH (WKBN) – ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that veteran wide receiver Gabe Davis is flying to Pittsburgh on Monday to visit the Pittsburgh Steelers for a second time on Tuesday.
He previously visited Pittsburgh in early June.
Davis spent the 2024 season with Jacksonville and the previous four campaigns in Buffalo.
He was released by the Jaguars on May 9 after completing just one year of a three-year, $39 million free agent contract.
Davis suffered a season-ending torn meniscus in his left knee in a loss to Detroit last November. In his lone season in Jacksonville, Davis finished with 20 receptions for 239 yards and two touchdowns.
For his career, Davis has appeared in 74 NFL games and has amassed 183 catches for 2,969 receiving yards and 29 touchdowns.
