CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) – Liberty opened the 2025 season with an impressive 40-0 road victory over Campbell. The Leopards' defense forced 4 turnovers and Dawaun Moody scored three times in the Leopards' shutout win.

After receiving the opening kick, on the second play from scrimmage, Campbell had a high snap that rolled towards the end zone where it was picked up by Liberty's defensive lineman Davon Perry as he went in for six points just 54 seconds into the game.

The Leopards' defense impressed in early going. Liberty held Campbell to just 6 yards on 5 offensive plays - through its first two possessions - that included a turnover and a quarterback sack.

On Liberty's first offensive drive, Dawaun Moody went in from 3-yards away to culminate the visitors' 7 play, 57 yard possession.
