ICE nabs two convicted child predators released from New York prison
BUFFALO, NY – Federal immigration authorities arrested two illegal immigrants convicted of child sex crimes shortly after they were released from a New York state prison, officials announced Tuesday.
On August 12, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations agents took Michael Kabiona and Noe Alberto Flores Sandoval into custody following their release from Wende Correctional Facility in Alden.
Kabiona, 54, a national of the Democratic Republic of Congo, was convicted in Buffalo of sexual misconduct against a child and sentenced to 12 years in prison. He originally entered the U.S. in 2011 and was later found to have violated the terms of his admission.
