DENVER (KDVR) — Investigators are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect in a deadly hit-and-run, according to a post on X from the Aurora Police Department.

The hit-and-run occurred on Aug. 9 around 6:15 p.m. in northwest Aurora.

Aurora police responded to a call at the intersection of Dayton Street and East 12th Avenue after a motorcyclist was hit and injured by another vehicle. The caller told police dispatch that one of the vehicles involved sped off from the scene.

Officers arrived at the scene and found a man with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital, where he died three days later on Aug. 12.

The Arapahoe County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 65-year-old Aurora resident Harvey Davis.
