A Miami hospital worker has been arrested in the theft of an elderly patient's Rolex after he was allegedly caught on camera pocketing the pricey watch, police said.

Yudier Sanchez, 46, was arrested Friday on charges of second-degree grand theft and exploitation of an elderly or disabled person, records showed.

According to an arrest report, on Sept. 29, 2024, the victim, who was 75 at the time and is now 76, was taken by ambulance to Keralty Hospital at 2500 Southwest 75th Avenue in Miami. Miami-Dade Corrections

All of her jewelry, including a gold Rolex Presidential watch, worth $45,000 was removed, photographed and inventoried, then placed in a yellow envelope by hospital staff for safekeeping.
