Finola Hughes is remembering Tristan Rogers after his death.

Last week, it was announced that Tristan , best known for playing Robert Scorpio on General Hospital , had passed away at the age of 79 following a battle with lung cancer.

On Saturday (August 16), the 65-year-old British actress, who plays Anna Devane on the ABC soap opera, took to Instagram to pay tribute to her longtime co-star.

“Wish I could play one more scene with you, my friend. Tris sauntered into my life on that first day to rehearse,” Finola wrote. “Cropped hair & steel blue eyes, I thought ‘damn, I’m gonna be working with Steve McQueen!’ From day one he called me ‘kid’ or ‘Finny’ and he made me laugh.”
