MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police are investigating after a man was shot in the leg on Sunday.
The victim called 911 around 4:23 p.m., saying he was shot, according to MPD spokesperson Anthony Vogel .
It happened on the 2200 Block of Allied Drive.
Police arrived promptly, administered first aid, and took him to the hospital. He was later discharged with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives from the Madison Police Department's Violent Crime Unit are currently investigating the weapons violation.
