FITCHBURG (WKOW) -- Cancer shouldn't be faced alone, and Monday Gilda's Club of Madison held an event to make sure their resources continue to be free for patients and their families.

The Red Door Golf Outing is an annual event for the organization.

Gilda's Club CEO, Lannia Stenz, says that their services help provide overlooked parts of standard treatment, like emotional care.

WKOW is a proud sponsor of the event.

Morning anchor Jake Eichstaedt and weekend evening anchor Chloe Morrissey were at the event to show support.
