ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Department of Transportation will conduct nighttime traffic pacing operations on the I-95/I-26 Interchange in Orangeburg County, according to a press release.

The pacing operations will begin on Monday, Aug. 18, for construction.

It will allow crews to complete work on the I-26 and I-95 Interchange Improvement Project.

SCDOT says the operations will include lane closures and speed reductions.

The closures will begin at 8 p.m. and will be picked up the following morning.

And will be repeated on Tuesday, Aug. 19.

Digital signs will be placed along the route alerting drivers to these changes.

SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention when driving near work zones.
