EASTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- One man is dead after a fatal motorcycle crash on Route 29 in Easton on Friday. New York State Police said 65-year-old Ricky B. Dufrain of Greenwich was pronounced dead on the scene, and the road was closed for four hours for an investigation and collision reconstruction.

Troopers said the crash happened around 5:49 p.m. on August 15. Dufrain was driving his motorcycle west on Route 29 when a sedan tried turning east while exiting a parking lot, according to troopers.

Dufrain collided with the sedan's driver's side, succumbing to his severe injuries on the scene. Troopers said the driver of the sedan has been cooperative with the investigation, and no charges have been filed as of August 18.
