DALEVILLE, Ind. -- Police have arrested a Daleville man suspected of driving while intoxicated, leading to a crash that claimed the life of a motorcyclist.
According to the Daleville Police Department, officers were dispatched at around 10 p.m. Friday to State Road 32 and Walnut Street after Delaware County 911 Communications Center received a call about a reported crash involving a pickup truck and two motorcyclists.
DPD said officers arrived and discovered a motorcyclist who was unresponsive and another who was suffering from an "apparent" leg injury. While they were on the scene, officers spoke with the driver of the truck, who they identified as 58-year-old Monte Antrim of Daleville.
