There was an early morning roundup on the North Shore Monday after a group of ponies escaped their stable in Hamilton, Massachusetts, prompting a unique police chase.

“All the ponies got out, said Devon Sorrentino, who was reining in several escaped horses.

Eight ponies managed to get out of their enclosure at the Myopia Hunt Club Stable and take a joyride around town before they were reined in.

“They knocked the fence over and went on an adventure,” said Sorrentino.

Local police along with stable staff were able to gather the animals that stirred up trouble this morning as the sun was rising - something police tell us has happened before - last week.
