Colts contributor uses bizarre food analogy to compare Anthony Richardson, Daniel Jones

The story of Colts training camp has been the competition between Anthony Richardson Sr. and Daniel Jones at quarterback. Both have had their moments, but it’s a battle which seems too close to call , despite a decision likely coming very soon.

WIth the impending decision from Shane Steichen, WISH-TV’s Heather Lloyd used a bizarre breakfast food analogy to describe the Colts quarterbacks entering the 2025 season.

Lloyd referred to Daniel Jones as oatmeal, which she said “is fine.”

It does the job, fills you up, and gives you the energy you need to get through the day. It’s not exciting, but it’s consistent and you know what to expect from it.”
