MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Madison Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two people in connection to a store robbery on the city’s east side over the weekend.
MPD stated at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, two people walked into a store in the 4100 block of E. Washington Avenue.
One suspect went behind the counter and allegedly put his arm around one of the employees implying that he had a gun.
MPD said a second suspect went up to another employee and asked where the safe was.
Both suspects then left the store.
When officers arrived to the store, they checked the area for the suspects and did not find them.
