The Toledo Walleye have signed forward Kevin Gursoy, a rookie who played college hockey in Canada.
Gursoy, a native of Windsor, Ont., played the last three seasons for Toronto Metropolitan University.
The 5-foot-11, 176-pound right winger led his team in scoring last season, posting 28 points with eight goals and 20 assists in 28 games.
In four collegiate seasons in USports, Gursoy had 84 points (33 G, 51 A) in 90 games.
Gursoy, 25, began his college career at Ryerson University, posting three points (2G, 1A) in 2021-22.
The forward also played three seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, scoring 114 points (51 G, 63 A) in 187 games with Saint John, Charlottetown, and Halifax.
