WFAN’s Brandon Tierney is catching flak after he recently questioned Mets slugger Juan Soto ’s age.

Soto was born on Oct. 25, 1998, and is 26 years old. But Tierney called that into question on Friday.

“Fifteen years of this? Does he look 26? Does he?” Tierney said, via Awful Announcing . “I shouldn’t even start this. This is gonna get me in trouble.

“But does he look 26? When you’re 26, you still have a youthful glow. Does he look 26?”

Tierney’s cohost, Sal Licata, pushed back on the accusation. He argued that Soto has been in Major League Baseball for seven-plus years, and he entered the league with more of a “baby face” and has “come into his own.”

“Okay. I can’t prove it,” Tierney said. “While I don’t know for sure… I think there’s a good chance he’s not 26, I’ll say it.”
