EAGAN, Minn. — Minnesota Vikings star receiver Justin Jefferson returned to practice Monday after suffering a mild hamstring strain early in training camp.

KARE 11's Will Hall reported Jefferson on the field Monday, participating in drills for the first time in more than three weeks.

"It'll be kind of a ramp up — you'll see him take parts in bits and pieces of (practice)," said Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell said before practice Monday. "But he will be back to work and be ramping up from here."

Jefferson left the second practice of training camp with "tightness" in his leg before O'Connell announced the hamstring strain the following day.
