Michigan football has lost one of its five-star freshmen for the near future and possibly all of 2025.
Andrew Babalola , a five-star offensive lineman in the class of 2025, suffered a knee injury during a recent practice and those around the program fear that it could quite possibly end his season, a source confirmed to the Free Press on Monday, Aug. 18.
He was the No. 1 player in Kansas in the class of 2025, the No. 3 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 16 overall player in the country, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Standing 6 feet 6 and 300 pounds, Babalola already has the requisite size to compete for Michigan's most coveted position up front — left tackle — and was said to be one of the two finalists for the job, along with Evan Link.
