TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — It's been nearly two years since a deadly mass shooting in Ybor City. On Monday, one of the three people arrested and charged in the case appeared in a Hillsborough County courtroom.

Dwayne Tillman is charged with attempted second-degree murder for firing shots in the incident that left 16 people wounded and two people dead.

Kayden Abney, who is charged with the murder of Harrison Boonstoppel, was not in court. Tyrell Phillips, who is also charged in the crime, was also not present in court.

The family of Harrison Boonstoppel was in court for the hearing. They said they know the process for justice will be a long one.
