GRAND BLANC, MI -- The Huron County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating a fatal car crash that killed a 24-year-old Grand Blanc man.

Emergency responders discovered the man inside his vehicle after 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 18, after he appeared to have lost control of his vehicle, hitting a guard rail and landing in a wooded area on M-25 in McKinley Township, according to a Huron County Sheriff’s Office news release.

The Huron Sheriff’s Office said police and firefighters had originally been called to the area because of a separate, minor car accident on M-25, less than a mile south of Filion Road.

A Fairhaven Township firefighter spotted the overturned vehicle, which was mostly concealed by foliage, per the release.
