RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Chief Deputy Secretary of State Gabriel Di Chiara will be leaving the Nevada Secretary of State’s Office.

Di Chiara will be replaced by new Chief Deputy C. Murphy Herbert.

“Chief Deputy Di Chiara came into office with me on day one of my first term in 2023, and helped guide the agency into a new era of modernization with major technology overhauls and passing critical pieces of legislation. I can’t thank Gabriel enough for his leadership and am incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together,” said Secretary Aguilar. “I’m excited to bring in C. Murphy Hebert as our new Chief Deputy; her experience at the Arizona’s Secretary of State’s Office, in another battleground state, is invaluable and I’m confident in her skills to lead us to further success.”
