LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - According to a report by Pete Nakos with On3 , Texas Tech RB Quinten Joyner has torn his ACL.

Joyner, a sophomore, transferred to Texas Tech after spending two years at USC.

Joyner arrived in Lubbock after picking Texas Tech over Ohio State in the transfer portal with three years of eligibility remaining.

During his time as a Trojan, Joyner played in 17 games and rushed for 603 yards and four touchdowns.

Joyner was a 2023 four-star prospect out of Manor High School.

Now, Texas Tech will turn to Cameron Dickey and J’Koby Williams in the running back room.
