LOWELL, Idaho – A deadly motorcycle accident occurred on Highway 12 east of Lowell, the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office said in a release.

On August 15, deputies discovered a motorcycle and its driver, Jason Short, 54, from Kenmore, Washington, down an embankment about 40 feet off the road.

Deputies and medical personnel attempted CPR at the scene. However, Idaho County Coroner Cody Funke confirmed that Short did not survive his injuries, the release said.
