Newsmax will soon be $67 million down the gutter.

The conservative TV network agreed to settle a lawsuit that accuses it of defaming a voting equipment company by spreading false claims about the 2020 election, several outlets reported on Monday. A Delaware superior court judge previously had ruled that Newsmax, an outlet that typically airs positive coverage about President Donald Trump and his administration, had defamed Dominion Voting Systems by airing lies about the company and its machinery.

The agreement, filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, comes after Fox News Channel paid $787.5 million to settle a lawsuit with the Colorado-based business in 2023. In September, Newsmax had also settled a libel lawsuit from Smartmatic, another manufacturer of voting ma
