WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A man is facing charges after he was accused of stealing from and destroying items in a house he was renting.

According to a post on social media by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, a property owner evicted Hunter Ash in July for refusing to pay rent.

His criminal complaint said he took items from the home and trashed the property.

It also said he was only 17 when he signed the lease and forged his signature.

He is due in court on Aug. 25 for arraignment.
