SILVER BAY, MN — Four stranded children are now safe, thanks to the work of A U.S. Coast Guard crew from Air Station Traverse City.
According to Air Station Traverse City’s Facebook page, the kids became stranded early Sunday morning on a large rock in Lake Superior, near the Black Beach Trailhead in Silver Bay, Minnesota.
The crew was able to hoist them up and take them to waiting e-m-s crews and their parents.
No further information was provided.
