EAU CLAIRE (WQOW) - 3rd Congressional Democratic Candidate Rebecca Cooke was campaigning in Eau Claire Monday morning promoting a new strategy about how she plans to win next November.
Supporters gathered at the Oxbow Hotel to hear Cooke talk about priorities within her campaign including increasing access to health care and holding Republican Derrick Van Orden accountable.
She also outlined her plans to 'go on the offensive' during the next 12 months before the primary.
"We're going out to lutefisk lunches in church basements you know in the middle of Vernon County, you know we're going out to county fairs all across this district that are in rural, rural places that maybe Democrats have never shown up to. But I think that's the piece that missing here," Cooke explained.
