CLARK COUNTY, Ind. — An Indianapolis woman was killed in a crash on Interstate 65 in Clark County on Monday.

According to a press release, personnel with the Indiana State Police, Clark County Sheriff's Department, Sellersburg Police Department and Tri-Township Fire and Rescue responded to a crash on I-65 northbound around 5:30 p.m. When police arrived at the scene, which was located near interstate mile marker 10, they found two crashed vehicles.

After an investigation, police determined the driver of a gray 2018 Ford F-150 was travelling northbound in the center lane of I-65 before the crash happened. The crash occurred when the driver of the Ford attempted to merge from the center lane into the left lane of the interstate.
