AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Nearly a year after Hurricane Helene, hunger still haunts the Augusta community, but Golden Harvest’s Spooky to be Hungry campaign is uniting people to make a difference.
“It became our disaster relief campaign, which our community came together and helped rally food and funds to help those who were affected by Hurricane Helene,” said Doressa Hawes, the Director of Corporate Partnerships and Volunteerism at Golden Harvest.
