WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Chris Jaax makes his debut with Bishop Carroll High School as the program's third football coach over a 30-year period. The long-tenured staff is a true testament to the Golden Eagles' dominance in the City League and the state of Kansas.

After seven years with the program, former head coach Dusty Trail hung up the headset for the final time after a 2-7 season last year. Thus, Jaax represents a changing of the guard for Bishop Carroll.

Last year's record and the team's struggles in recent seasons aren't on Jaxx's mind ahead of the new year. What is on his mind is the school's rich tradition, which he believes will translate to success on the field.
