AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - After losing over 30 seniors in 2024, the West Plains Wolves shocked the Texas Panhandle with a historic season that ended in the last moments of the state semifinal.
That was enough to earn them the #2 pre-season ranking in the state, meaning now, all eyes are on the Wolfpack.
“Everyone’s more aware of us this year, but it’s the same thing,” senior slot receiver/safety Boston Ladd said. “We came in with a championship mentality last year. This year, we just know that instead of proving people wrong, we’ve got people to prove right. They know what we’re capable of, but we’ve always known that.”
