CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Cleveland Heights police are investigating after several homeowners reported receiving threatening messages related to the display of their Pride flags. The residents describe the threats as homophobic, "neo-Nazi," violent, and hateful, declaring they have no place in the community.

If you drive down any of the streets in Cleveland Heights' neighborhoods, you'll find a diversity of flags representing the fabric of the community.

"If you look up and down our street, there's Pride flags, there's 'We believe in love' signs in the yards, and that sort of thing," one man said.

But last week, several homeowners said hateful mail was sent right to their doorsteps. The man we spoke to said he was shocked to hear about it.
