LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
A packed King Solomon Baptist Church in west Louisville became a hub for community members determined to address the gun violence plaguing their neighborhoods.
Residents and city leaders gathered to discuss solutions, with no idea deemed off the table.
Councilwoman Tammy Hawkins said she wanted to build meaningful relationships to solve the crisis.
"I want the Office of Violence Prevention at the table, I want the police at the table, I want the council members at the table, we have a state representative here, I want him at the table, and I want the community at the table," she said.
