A bag containing cash was reportedly "snatched" from a pensioner in Leicester city centre . Officers have issued CCTV in a bid to trace one man in connection with the incident.
Leicestershire Police said that the incident happened in Leicester's Charles Street between 10.30am and 11am on Friday, July 4 when two men reportedly stole the bag from a man in his 70s. According to the force, the bag contained cash, passport forms and other documents.
Officers said that after stealing the bag , the two men made off towards Kildare Street. Several enquiries have been undertaken since the incident occurred and police have issued a CCTV image of a man they believe may have information that could assist investigations.
