Scotland has enjoyed a pleasant run of weather as of late but we can all agree that the country is not normally blessed with too much sunshine and warmth. ‌

Our cooler climate is usually something that forecasters are in agreement about. But a monstrous weatherfront that is reportedly approaching the UK has split opinion among experts. ‌

While the Met Office and the team at WXCharts agree that an area of low pressure in the Atlantic could impact our weather, especially with Hurricane Erin causing havoc across the pond, there are differences in how they believe it will manifest itself. ‌

An early WXCharts map predicted that a 600-mile rainstorm was set to hammer the UK , with only a handful of regions not expected to be deluged by downpours.
