The Minnesota Vikings are signing former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Xazavian Valladay, according to multiple reports.
Valladay most recently spent time with the New Orleans Saints, but was released in June. He now gets a chance to showcase himself with the Vikings.
The 26-year-old Valladay spent the latter half of the 2024 season with the Saints, signing to their practice squad in November.
In his career, Valladay has spent time around numerous teams, including the New York Jets, Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Saints.
He spent part of training camp with the Steelers in 2023, showcasing himself to be an explosive running back. Valladay ran a 4.46 40-yard dash with a 40-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-3-inch broad jump during the scouting process.
