GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — Every day for the rest of the week has potential to hit 100 degrees in the Grand Valley. Sunny and hot conditions persist today with highs near 100. Light and variable winds throughout the morning turn into little to no breezes in the midday. Tonight, mostly clear conditions continue with overnight lows in the mid-sixties. Hot and dry conditions remain through the end of the week, with near-record high temperatures expected. A few isolated showers or thunderstorms will be possible over the San Juans in the afternoon. Confidence continues to increase that moisture will return late this week, increasing chances of precipitation and bringing some cooler temperatures.
