MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) - The 59-year-old man, who was charged with the deaths of the two Colorado Department of Transporation workers, as well as his passenger, pleaded guilty to their deaths on Tuesday.
Patrick Sneddon entered a plea agreement to three counts of vehicular homicide while driving under the influence and failure to yield to a stationary public service utility vehicle (Colorado’s Move Over Law). Sneddon had marijuana in his system when the crash occurred.
Sneddon veered off U.S. Highway 6 and killed CDOT workers Nathan Jones and Trent Umberger, as well as his partner, Kathi Ann Wallace, on Sept. 4, 2024, in Palisade.
Sneddon is facing anywhere from four to 30 years in prison.
