GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) - A 40-year-old woman was arrested on eight different charges, which includes burglary and vehicular eluding, after an incident on Monday.
The Grand Junction Police Department stated officers responded to a report of burglary around 11:45 a.m. on the 2600 block of Dahlia Drive. Law enforcement learned the suspect, Rachael Brakey, allegedly broke a window of her ex-boyfriend's home and damaged a vehicle in the driveway.
An officer located Brakey's car in a dirt lot on the 2700 block of H Road and attempted to contact her. However, after she was told she was under arrest, Brakey allegedly drove off, leading officers in a short pursuit. She later stopped and exited her vehicle before reportedly charging toward law enforcement.
