BAY VILLAGE, Ohio (WJW) -- The search for two brothers who were swept away by rip currents over the weekend was suspended once again Tuesday, due to weather conditions.

Angel Labbe tells FOX 8 her family was visiting Huntington Beach in Bay Village on Sunday.

Around 5:30 p.m., Labbe said her two brothers were swept away by strong currents.

Twenty-two year-old Austin Labbe and 19-year-old Trent Sanchez were last seen in the water near the break wall.

“They were waist deep, they were not too far out, and they got drifted far, quick,” Angel told FOX 8.

Coast Guard and local rescue teams had to call off the search Sunday night and Monday morning because of rough conditions on Lake Erie.
