DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) - State Representative Lindsay James announced her campaign for Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District Tuesday.
James has served in the Iowa House since 2019. She is also an ordained Presbyterian chaplain and mother of two.
James plans to focus her campaign on “fixing a broken system that favors billionaires and leaves too many Iowans behind,” according to a release. She is also guided by the belief to “love your neighbor.”
“Every Iowan deserves a fair shot to build the life they deserve,” said James. “I will listen and be their voice in Congress, fighting to make life better for families across our district. We need to come together to build a stronger, fairer Iowa where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.”
James is the third democrat to join the race for Iowa’s 2n
