FAIRFIELD, Iowa (KCRG) - A man is arrested after police located a missing Iowa girl in North Carolina Monday.

On Sunday, the Fairfield Police Department contacted law enforcement in North Carolina regarding a missing juvenile.

As part of an investigation, Fairfield Police found text messages between the girl and a 25-year-old man in North Carolina. The girl was then picked up by the man and transported to Rockingham County, North Carolina.

Deputies found the missing girl in the 800 block of Willow Street in Reidsville, North Carolina.

According to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, one man is arrested in connection to the incident.

John Johnson is charged with second degree sexual exploitation of a minor and solicitation by computer. He is being held on a $850,000 bond.
