A 14-year-old was charged with two counts of first-degree murder after he was accused of shooting his parents in their Clay County home is due in court on Tuesday for his arraignment.

Trevor Lee called 911 from his cellphone on Aug. 4 after walking to CrossPointe Church in Fleming Island, about 1.4 miles from his Middleburg home.

The walk would have taken him about 30 minutes, according to Google Maps.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office released Lee’s arrest report, mug shot and 911 call on Tuesday. The report and phone call were both heavily redacted to protect the investigation and any future prosecution. Any statements the teenager made that might incriminate him can’t be released until a trial.
