ESPN has made sweeping changes to the schedule for the rest of the month and leading into NFL season.

The network's decision has ramifications for top studio shows First Take and the Pat McAfee Show.

And it comes with ESPN giving live sports priority on the main channel.

ESPN is this week showing the Little League Baseball World Series.

The action begins at 1 pm ET on the main channel Monday through Wednesday and 3 pm ET Thursday.

Friday's telecast is not due to begin until 7 pm ET.

First Take is on the schedule unaffected this week in the usual 10 am ET until midday ET slot.

The Pat McAfee Show , meanwhile, has seen it's runtime on the main channel cut.

It is usually on from midday ET until 2 pm ET after First Take.
