Former college football player Bailey Lenney is dead at 27 following a fatal car accident in New Jersey.

A former member of the roster at Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, Lenney was killed in a crash at a farm in Franklin Township in Gloucester County on Saturday night after losing control of his car.

His death follows that of a beloved football coach who was killed in a horrific car crash less than a month ago.

According to NJ.com , the 27-year-old ran off the road into a field, where his car overturned multiple times and he was ejected from the sunroof.

He was flown to a hospital in Camden, where he was pronounced dead.
