American carmaker Hennessey Special Vehicles has revealed a one-off 2,031 bhp version of its Venom F5 hypercar at Monterey Car Week in California. The Venom F5 Revolution LF - a 1-of-1 model - was unveiled on Thursday at The Quail, created for collector and entrepreneur Louis Florey through Hennessey's new bespoke division, known as Maverick. Built as a showcase of individuality and innovation, the car features a range of exclusive elements, including a Cocoa Brown exposed carbon fibre finish, a bespoke aerodynamic package and a six-speed gated manual gearbox. Company founder and chief executive John Hennessey said: "When our customers have a dream, we work to make their dreams come true - exceeding customer expectations is a badge of honour. Our new 'Maverick' division enables our customers to take our American Hypercar to a totally new dimension. I see it as the ultimate expression of the American Dream!" The car debuts a new generation carbon monocoque, with Hennessey's 'XCell_2' tub designed to improve rigidity, driving position and space for a third pedal. The interior places an emphasis on analogue engagement, with a hand-milled aluminium H-pattern gear shifter, horology-inspired switchgear and a reengineered parking brake lever designed to replicate a bolt-action feel. Nathan Malinick, Hennessey's Director of Design, said: "A common point of celebration for our customers is how the F5 delivers unmatched driving intensity. We built on this prominent theme with Louis Florey, identifying mechanical, sensory, and design-led ways of deepening the connection between F5 and driver. "The LF demonstrates how far we'll go to deliver an outstanding customer experience and it's the perfect launchpad for our new bespoke 'Maverick' division. It's where engineering meets imagination, and where design fuses with passion - there can be no greater way to connect driver with the most raw, powerful, and intense celebration of internal combustion." The Venom F5 Revolution LF also previews elements from Hennessey's forthcoming Venom F5 Evolution. Powered by a 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 2,031 bhp, it features revised aerodynamics, new suspension and a significantly taller rear wing to enhance stability at high speeds.
