A popular supermarket chain with stores in Pennsylvania is recalling one of the cheeses it sells because it might be contaminated.

Wegmans is recalling its Wegmans Medium Camembert Soft Ripened Cheese, as well as other products containing this cheese, because it could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and those with weakened immune systems, the Centers for Disease Control said. In healthy individuals, listeria can cause high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, It can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
